Ryan Nitz was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida. He started fishing & hunting at a very early age, but it wasn’t until he purchased a Sports Authority Canoe with a minkoda trolling motor that let his wings fly. This craft allowed him to sneak back into the Indian River and learn the nooks and crannies that housed giant breeder snook. From May until September you can find him chucking mullet and zera spooks at 40inch Snook but come fall and winter, he’ll be barefoot in a tree stand targeting Florida Whitetails that look like they fled Ohio.

After receiving his degree, he worked pest control for his girlfriends father’s business and was on track to make that his career. It wasn’t until Ryan appeared on a Saltwater Experience TV show that made him realize the influx of people that wanted to fish with him. After his first guided trip, he’s pursued a career on the water and in the woods and has never looked back. Ryan has a knack for targeting and killing giant whitetails and is one of the deadliest turkey callers and hunters guiding today. To Ryan, there’s nothing more exciting than sharing those moments with clients and showcasing the best of what Florida has to offer with them.
